Yesss I was hoping you'd join Glad to have someone from the Land of Tea aboard Oooh a spiced tea. I've had cinnamon herbal tea before, but I've never tried any with ginger. Sounds really good! I'll have to give it a try some time

Since we're all about sharing tea recipes, to make ginger tea, thinly slice a root of ginger and add it into the tea while it's hot. Let it sit for a bit (rhyming, ha!). You should remove them quickly if you don't want it to be too spicy. If you add enough and keep it long enough, it almost feels like alcohol going down. xD

Username: Lisia Favorite kind of tea: I don't think I really have a favorite. I like most any tea, as there are many good blends for many uses! I do have to say that I don't particularly care for especially fruity teas, however.

Welcome to the club, everyone! We've got quite a variety here, if I do say so myself. My favorite, of course, is gyokuro. It's a variety of Japanese green tea that's grown in the shade rather than in the sun. It's a bit of a strong flavor when you compare it to other kinds of green tea, but there's nothing else like it. Worth a try if you like green tea! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GyokuroAnother favorite of mine from our list of favorites is milk tea! It's so tasty. I've always loved coconut milk tea, which I first tried at a Thai food restaurant and have loved it since. I've never made it at home, myself, but I'd certainly love to one day~ Also, iced tea is quite the classic too! There's nothing better to drink than a nice sugary delicious sweet tea on a hot summer day~ Aaaand I'm totally trying that recipe you gave, Eru, thank you for providing it! ^^

Oh! If you like milk tea, try my recipe with milk tea! It's really, really nice. I like it much better with milk than with plain tea!
I've heard of Gyokuro but I've never tried it. I'm not a huge fan of green tea though! >~<
I've had coconut milk tea (well, Sri Lanka amirite?) but it isn't really for me!
